Right at the end of yesterday’s race my left hamstring cramped up. It was literally the last 30 feet or so. I think I need to stretch a little more pre and post running and also ensure that I am adequately hydrated on marathon Monday.
I’ve also decided to stop drinking for the week prior to the marathon. I figure booze can’t help, and I might as well take advantage of something in my control.
I am a little sore today but not too bad. Today is an off day, and maybe tomorrow too. I’ll see how I feel. I am traveling for work for a few days so it looks like I will have to contend with the dreaded treadmill…
